Details about the cameras of the promising flagships Xiaomi – Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Ultra have appeared on the Web. They are expected to be released in December or even November this year and will be the world’s first smartphones on the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 898. And they may also be the first smartphones in the world with image sensors with a resolution of 200 megapixels.
According to the source, the main cameras Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be represented by three modules. The top model will include sensors with a resolution of 200 megapixels (in the main module), 50 megapixels (in the module with an ultra-wide-angle lens) and 50 megapixels (in the periscope module with optical 10x zoom). In Xiaomi 12, the main sensor is the same 200-megapixel, but there is no periscope. There will also be modules with an ultra-wide-angle lens and for macro photography.
In general, the cameras of the Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Ultra will repeat the cameras of the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra, adjusted for the resolution of the sensors. Of course, both smartphones will have optical image stabilization, and in the Xiaomi 12 Ultra – at least two out of three modules.
