A preliminary version of the popular game engine Unreal Engine 5 became available in the early access system on May 26, those who wish can already download it on the official website.
At the same time, Epic Games published a large video demonstrating the features and capabilities of Unreal Engine 5. For the presentation, a demo of Valley of the Ancient was used, which was recorded on the next generation game consoles.
With this engine, Epic Games hopes to go beyond to “empower developers from all industries to create amazing content.” The company still offers this engine for “game developers” but is also thinking about using it in other industries.
The final version of Unreal Engine 5 is expected to be released early next year. However, Epic Games said that the studio will start using Unreal Engine 5 in game development before everyone else, which is logical.
