Snapdragon 895 and Exynos 2200 will be 4nm platforms

More details about Qualcomm’s next-generation SoC are emerging online. It is not yet clear what it will be called (possible options are Snapdragon 895 and Snapdragon 988), but it will be manufactured by Samsung. Thus, Qualcomm will not change the production site, because the Snapdragon 888 is also produced by Samsung.

According to an insider, the Exynos 2200 – Samsung’s proprietary SoC, which is rumored to receive an AMD GPU, will also be 4nm.

The insider cites sources that turned out to be right in 7 out of 8 cases, so this data can be trusted. By the way, and this is interesting, Samsung renamed its process technology 5LPA (that is, 5-nanometer third generation) in 4LPE (4-nanometer first generation), this is how the new SoC Qualcomm and Samsung turned out to be 4-nanometer.
