Nikon’s Japanese website recently posted a notice that the Z7 and Z7 II mirrorless cameras will no longer ship with the EH-7P charger. Problems with suppliers of components caused by the global shortage of semiconductor products were named as the reason.
The manufacturer clarifies that the MH-25A charger will continue to be included with the Z7 and Z7 II.
It should be explained that the MH-25A Battery Charger allows you to recharge the battery used to power the camera from the mains. In turn, the EH-7P charger allows you to charge the battery without removing it from the camera. It is compatible with Nikon cameras equipped with a USB-C connector.
The shipment of cameras in the new configuration began on July 1. To find out if the EH-7P is included with a particular camera, refer to the list printed on the box.
