The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 smartphone will definitely receive the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Earlier rumors spoke about this, and now it is confirmed by the Geekbench base.
The software also indicates Android 11 out of the box and 8 GB of RAM, although there may be versions with a different amount of memory. All this tells us that the new model of Microsoft’s foldable smartphone will still be a full-fledged flagship device. Recall that the first version received an outdated platform at the time of its release, and at the same time did not receive stereo speakers, an NFC module and a good camera.
According to available data, the novelty will be released in the fall. Given the failure of the first model and retaining the concept along with the form factor for the second, it is not yet very clear what Microsoft is counting on.
