Apple will soon introduce new versions of mobile platforms for the iPhone and iPad. Meanwhile, details about iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 are piling up on the web.
This time, the authoritative publication Bloomberg shared the details. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, iPadOS 15 not only offers the ability to place widgets anywhere on the home screen, but also improved multitasking to make it easier to work with multiple apps at the same time.
In iOS 15, along with major changes to iMessage and a new way for users to set their status (driving, sleeping, working, do not disturb, and so on), there will also be a redesigned incoming notification banner and automatic message replies.
Apple is also preparing a redesigned lock screen for iPad and iPhone, but some of these changes have been delayed until iOS 16 next year. In macOS 12, tvOS 15, and watchOS 8, Gourmet is expecting some minor changes.
Apple has already announced that WWDC 2021 will kick off on June 7th. It is on this day that the announcement of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 is expected, as well as macOS 12, tvOS 15 and watchOS 8.
