A new image of the Huawei nova 8i smartphone has appeared on the web – a mid-range model, which, according to rumors, will be sold only in Asia.
This smartphone will become the next Huawei model based on the Qualcomm platform – in this case, the developers chose the Snapdragon 662 with an LTE modem (and the Chinese cannot buy SoCs with 5G modems due to US sanctions). Huawei is increasing the number of models on the SoC Qualcomm, and, according to rumors, even the P50 will use a single-chip system from the American company – a special version of Snapdragon 888 with LTE modem and no 5G support.
The nova 8i also has a 4300 mAh battery with 66 W fast charging support, and the OS will be Android 11 with EMUI 11. But in the future, this model may be transferred to HarmonyOS 2.0.
