The resource Huawei Central has published a video comparing the download speed of smartphones running HarmonyOS 2.0 and ColorOS 11.
Recall that the operating system HarmonyOS 2.0, which was released just a month ago, is no longer installed in 30 million Huawei and Honor smartphones. On the other hand, ColorOS 11 is now a skin not only for Oppo smartphones, but also for OnePlus devices sold in China. In addition, it recently became known that OxygenOS is being combined with ColorOS.
HarmonyOS 2.0 developers claim that the new operating system has received many optimizations that have a positive impact on the loading speed of the OS and applications. The video confirms that the HarmonyOS 2.0 smartphone boots in 31 seconds, while the ColorOS 11 smartphone took 44 seconds.
Huawei plans to migrate more than 300 million devices to HarmonyOS 2.0 by the end of the year, including 200 million of its own smartphones and tablets.
