The developers of the Master Lu benchmark have published an updated rating of smartphones with the smoothest interface. Surprisingly, it was immediately led by the Huawei Mate 40 Pro 4G – this model, running HarmonyOS 2.0, only went on sale in China in June.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro 4G topped the corresponding rating with a score of 182.68 points. In second place is another model running HarmonyOS 2.0 – Huawei Mate40E 4G. He has 181.03 points. In third place is the Honor 50 Pro with Magic UI on top of Android OS.
The creators of the rating did not limit themselves to a general list, they also presented the results of a comparative test of the smooth operation of smartphones running HarmonyOS 2.0 and iOS 14.4.2. Its meaning boiled down to sequentially launching 22 popular applications, placing them in the background and re-launching them from the background.
HarmonyOS handles this task much better than iOS. Interestingly, in the same test, where 12 applications were already used, iOS performed at the HarmonyOS 2.0 level, but Android with the MIUI 12.5.4 interface (Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra was used in the test) was inferior.
