Asus has announced the sale of the 43-inch ROG Strix XG43UQ Xbox Edition monitor. As the name implies, this model is optimized for use with game consoles Xbox Monitor. More specifically, an “Xbox Mode” has been added in partnership with Microsoft to maximize the display’s potential when connected to the Xbox Series X and S consoles.
The monitor uses a 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) VA panel with anti-reflective coating. The monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro adaptive sync technology and Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) Sync technology. The maximum refresh rate is 144 Hz. The monitor is DisplayHDR 1000 certified. The response time is stated to be 1 ms (MPRT). It should also be noted that it covers 90% of the DCI-P3 color space and the presence of a backlight compatible with Asus Aura Sync.
The monitor equipment includes a DisplayPort 1.4 DSC input, an HDMI v2.0 input and two HDMI v2.1 inputs, as well as two USB 3.0 ports, two 10W speakers and a headphone jack.
The monitor costs $ 1,399. Sales will begin in October.
